So, I guess inactivity leads to being cut-off...or maybe some guy with technical savvy just stole my handle (or whatever we are calling our "names" these days). No worries, I like this name better anyway, so THERE! And my old blog...well, it was for a different time and a different place. When I was a "big city gal". Now, now I am a... well, still trying to figure that out. But I am definately not living in NYC anymore. And I am definately not "single" anymore. Seriously, he NEVER LEAVES. OK, well that isn't true, he leaves a lot. But the deal is, he is always coming back. It is weird to share a bed with someone. I mean occasionally yes, I am used to that. But every night! The rituals, the fighting over who has to get up and turn the lights off that HE left off. The "discussion" over whether or not to fall asleep with the TV on! -- umm...NO!

Anyway, I had a point somewhere in here. OH YES...
My goal for MY part of this blog is to write about what "SUBURBIA" is like for someone who is 100% anti-surburban ideals. And my hope is that my partner in Blogging will keep the CITY vibe alive. Plus, it is just going to be a place that we can keep each other posted of our "day-to-day" which SHE insists is not boring. But I think I beg to differ when the thing I think about most on my 1/2 hour drive home is how to incorporate my NEW hanging files in my office. And how wonderful it will be when I have everything organized in "my office" which is now the dumping place for all things without a home in "our home". Ummm yeah...the things dreams are made of I tell you. But somehow after listening to a 20-month old scream and cry for an hour writing on the floor, for God knows WHAT reason...(sometimes it is because he can't get the fork to function AS a fork, and other times it is because he can't have the toy he wants)...thinking about organization gives me peace. That and finding gas for 5-cents cheaper. MAN...seriously, it is up to $1.57 a gallon at most stations. Yeah, bet you city folk didn't know that! :P

My other goal for my PART of the blog is to be free-flowing in my writing. I, unlike the other person on this blog, (not naming names) am NOT a writer by trade. And I quite like the freedom that comes with that. But please don't compare our writing styles, or you will be sorely disappointed and probably highly frustrated.

In conclusion, lost access for a while but now I hope I am back to stay. (I can tell I don't use the computer as much as I used to, being that I am using proper CAPS and all.)

So where am I in surburban satisfaction? On a scale of 1-10 I will attempt to rate it each time I blog. There are many factors that go into this, but 10 is of course the highest...
My SS today: 5 (I did get new hanging files!)
